This study examines why low-frequency sound is commonly perceived as stronger in indoor environments than in outdoor settings. By analyzing boundary reflections, air volume limitations, energy retention, and resonance effects, it shows that differences in bass perception arise primarily from environmental conditions rather than changes in loudspeaker performance.
