ODM PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
Both parties confirm the project scope, development framework, and confidentiality terms to officially begin cooperation.
The client provides the product concept, appearance requirements, functional specifications, target price, and market positioning.
Deluxe AV conducts an initial technical and commercial assessment.
The standard development cycle is 55 days, with the fastest lead time of 25 days depending on project complexity.
A comprehensive evaluation is carried out across structure, electronics, acoustics, lighting, manufacturing processes, and cost.
Risks and optimization suggestions are identified and addressed.
Deluxe AV delivers the structural design, electronic solution, lighting scheme, and preliminary technical specifications.
Adjustments are made based on client feedback until final approval is reached.
Upon confirming all specifications and solutions, the client proceeds with the development fee payment to move forward.
The client provides the ID design, or Deluxe AV develops a custom ID based on requirements.
The finalized industrial design is approved before engineering development begins.
Our engineering team initiates:
1. Structural drawings
2. Prototype fabrication
3. PCBA design and layout
4. Hand-built PCBA for rapid functional verification
Revisions are made according to client feedback.
The client evaluates both the appearance prototype and functional sample.
Further refinements are conducted until all criteria are fully met.
Once prototypes are approved, mold fabrication begins.
T0/T1/T2 trial samples are produced and optimized to ensure readiness for stable mass production.
Final approval of all packaging elements, including:
Gift box design, manuals, labels, artwork files, and printing documents.
A pre-production pilot run is conducted along with complete reliability tests, such as:
Aging test, drop test, vibration test, high/low temperature cycling, acoustic consistency, and lighting consistency.
This ensures full compliance with performance and durability standards.
After successful pilot validation, the project enters mass production under strict AQL-based quality control.
