This case study presents an OEM speaker project developed for STF in Mexico. The program focused on a dual 5-inch outdoor speaker designed for practical market use rather than concept-only development.
The project began in 2024. The customer needed a supplier that could support product follow-up, sample confirmation, production preparation, and repeat shipment execution on a workable timeline. Deluxe AV supported the project from early product coordination through batch production and delivery.
The first order reached 2,000 pcs, and cumulative shipments later reached 15 shipments. The project moved beyond the initial sample and order stage and became a repeat supply program for the market.
STF is a Mexico-market audio brand working on speaker products for local sales.
For this project, the customer needed a product that could fit real market demand rather than stay at the sample stage. That meant the speaker had to be commercially workable, visually acceptable, and stable enough for repeated production and shipment.
This kind of project usually depends less on dramatic product innovation and more on whether the supplier can support the transition from confirmed product direction to repeatable delivery.
The project centered on a dual 5-inch outdoor speaker positioned for entertainment-oriented use.
The customer’s main requirements were practical:
a workable product platform
stable product execution
support for OEM cooperation
efficient follow-up from sampling to production
readiness for repeated shipments
supply support suitable for the Mexico market
The challenge was not building a showpiece sample. The real requirement was to make sure the product could move through confirmation, production, and shipment without losing control over timing or consistency.
The customer needed a speaker supplier that could do more than provide a sample.
Deluxe AV was a suitable fit because we could support the project across the stages that matter most in OEM work: product coordination, sample follow-up, manufacturing preparation, quality control, and shipment execution.
For projects like this, speed alone is not enough. A product must also remain workable when it moves into repeated production. That is where factory-side execution becomes more important than presentation at the sample stage.
The project started with product coordination based on the customer’s market direction. Deluxe AV worked with the customer on sample follow-up, requirement alignment, and product confirmation.
At this stage, the focus was practical. The job was to make sure the product direction could hold up in production instead of looking acceptable only in an early sample.
This part of the project helped reduce avoidable changes later and made the path into mass production more direct.
Once the product direction was confirmed, the project moved into production preparation. Deluxe AV supported this transition through standard manufacturing steps, including:
BOM confirmation
packaging follow-up
trial production
process checking
material coordination
inspection preparation
shipment planning
This stage matters in OEM projects because it determines whether an approved product can actually be supplied in a controlled way. A sample has limited value if the production side is unstable.
To support repeated supply, Deluxe AV applied standard control procedures during production, including incoming material inspection, in-line checks, finished-product inspection, function verification, and packaging inspection before shipment.
These controls helped reduce unnecessary variation between batches and supported more stable delivery over multiple shipments.
For a market-facing speaker program, this is where much of the real work happens. Buyers do not only evaluate the first unit. They evaluate whether later orders remain consistent.
The project moved from sample confirmation into repeated production and shipment.
The first order reached 2,000 pcs, and cumulative shipments later reached 15 shipments. This shows that the project did not stop at trial cooperation. It developed into an ongoing supply relationship supported by practical production execution.
For the customer, the value was straightforward: the project delivered a workable product path and repeatable supply support. For Deluxe AV, it further demonstrated our ability to support OEM speaker programs that need to move beyond a first order and continue into stable follow-up shipments.
This project reflects a common pattern in OEM speaker cooperation.
Many customers do not need a highly experimental development route. They need a product that can be confirmed, produced, and shipped with fewer disruptions. That makes factory execution, quality control, and shipment stability just as important as the product itself.
That was the practical value of Deluxe AV’s role in this case.
The project worked because the focus stayed on execution. Instead of making the process look more complicated than necessary, the work stayed centered on product confirmation, production readiness, and repeatable supply.
